HSA Founders Scholarship Application
The Highline Soccer Association (HSA) is proud to offer five (5) scholarship awards to assist our graduating high school players in pursuing post-high school education. These scholarship awards are funded through a generous donation from Tom Clayton and player fees assessed to our Member Clubs.
Scholarship Awards
- First Place: $1,500 awarded to a single outstanding applicant
- Second Place: $750 awarded to two (2) applicants
- Third Place: $500 awarded to two (2) applicants
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for scholarship consideration, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Have played soccer for a minimum of two (2) seasons with any club or team in the Highline Soccer Association (Highline Soccer Club, West Seattle Soccer Club, HSA Select, or Highline Premier FC)
- Graduate from an accredited high school at the end of the current school year
- Plan to attend university, community college, or accredited vocational/trade school after graduating
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit the following materials:
Application Deadline and Submission
- Complete applications must be submitted by April 30th
- Late applications will not be considered
Completed applications must be submitted via email to: [email protected]
Selection Process
- A committee of HSA board members and community leaders will review all complete applications
- Applicants' names will be redacted prior to judging
Winners will be notified by email or phone on by the end of May.
