Reimbursement and Refund Policies

 

For all Reimbursement Requests:

To receive reimbursement for any of the following, please mail the required documentation along with receipt of payment with your name and address to: West Seattle Soccer Club (WSSC), P.O. Box 16266, Seattle, WA 98116.

Tournament Reimbursement:

The WSSC will reimburse each U8-U10 team up to $200, and each U11-U19 team up to $400 per calendar year for tournament reimbursement. To claim this benefit, the team must pay for the tournament up front. The tournament sponsor will issue a receipt to the team contact generally on the day of the tournament.

State Cup (or City Tournament) Reimbursement Policy
WSSC pays fee or reimburses coaches up to $150 for any one of the following tournaments:

  • Rec Cup-WSSCenters team and pays full $150 entry fee
  • SYSA City Tournament-coachenters team and players and WSSC pays up to $150 of entry fee.
  • Founders Cup-coachenters team and players and WSSC pays up to $150 of the entry fee. If the coach hasn't already used their $400 regular tourney reimbursement for the calendar year, they can apply that amount towards the Founders Cup.

Referee License Reimbursement


The WSSC will reimburse new referees up to $75 for fees paid to attend classes and obtain their certification. The only condition is that the referee must pass the final exam to acquire the license and officiate at least ten (10) WSSC matches. Please submit a copy of certification and proof of payment to the attention of the Club Treasurer for reimbursement at [email protected].

Coaching  Reimbursement


The WSSC will reimburse Club coaches for fees paid to attend approved Coaching License clinics. The only condition is that the coach must pass the final exam to acquire the license. Standard class fees run up to $150. If the class will cost more than that, prior approval is required. Please contact us at [email protected]

Player Fee Refund Policy (*updated June 2015)

Instructions

  • Submit email to: [email protected] and [email protected], with "Refund Request" in the subject line
  • Include the following in the email:
    • Your Name
    • Your Player's Name
    • Your Player's Age Group

*Fall Program-The WSSC will refund any player in full before the fall soccer season starts, for any reason. After the season starts, a 75% refund can be granted if requested by September 30th, and a 50% refund can be granted if requested by October 31st.Players registered in the Coed U7 program may be refunded in full up until October 31st.After October 31st, no refunds will be given.

*Spring Program -The WSSC will refund any player in full before the spring soccer season starts, for any reason. After the season starts, a 50% refund can be granted if requested prior to the second game of the season. After the second game no refunds will be given.

*All refunds are subject to 10% administration fee, unless waived by Board.
