  • Successfully complete a referee certification course and pass any required final exam.
  • Officiate at least ten (10) WSSC-sanctioned matches within 12 months of the course completion date, documented via the current means provided by the HSA Referee Assignor or their delegate.

2. Reimbursement Amount

  • Up to $100 for the cost of obtaining the first-time referee certification.

3. Reimbursement Submission and Deadlines

3.1 Reimbursement Submission Window

All reimbursement requests must be submitted within 13 months of your course completion date.

3.2 Submission Method

3.3 Required Documentation

Each submission must include:

1.    Completed Course Certification showing the referee’s full name exactly as it will appear on the reimbursement check (or, for minors, the legal guardian’s name).

2.    Proof of Payment: A dated, itemized receipt or invoice showing the licensing course cost and completed payment method.

3.    Match Log: A dated, itemized list verifying at least ten WSSC matches officiated within the 12-month eligibility window.

3.4 Alternate Arrangements

  • If you are unable to email the required materials (for example, due to file‑size limits), please email your request to [email protected] and [email protected] with the subject line: “Referee Reimbursement Alternative Request – [Your Name]”
  • That request must be submitted within the same 13-month window following your course completion date.

4. Policy Review & Oversight

  • The Board will audit reimbursements for compliance with these requirements annually.
  • A seasonal summary of disbursements may be shared with the Board for internal review and planning.
  • The Board reserves the right to modify this policy at any time to ensure alignment with club priorities and financial health.
