Spring SOCCER SEASON - GENERAL INFO

The West Seattle Soccer Club is proud to offer exciting programs for recreational players, aged 5 to 19.

Important Registration Info for Spring Soccer:

Registration for spring soccer runs from Feb 1 through Feb 28 each year.  Registrations received after the deadline are accepted on a space-available basis only. Caution! There is limited capacity in some age groups and player limits regularly are reached before the close of registration. Do not delay!

Teams are formed during the month of March with the Spring Season starting in April for most age groups.
Usually, in the Spring, all age groups play on Sundays except for U13 and U14 which play games on Saturdays in the SSUL or NPSL.

Player registration must be completed online by the player's parent or legal guardian. To register, CLICK HERE. Your prompt registration eases the burden on our volunteer team in preparing for the spring season.

  • Players are assigned to teams according to our published Player Assignment Guidelines. Team assignments will be completed as quickly as possible AFTER the open registration period ends -your patience during this process is greatly appreciated!
  • If your coach is not returning this spring but your player wants to continue playing with us, please register them as soon as possible and indicate any friends they would like to play with. Our administrative team will do their best to find a great new team for your player.

OUR PARTNER CLUBS AND PROGRAMS

HSA: Recreational Soccer Clubs

HSA's Recreational Soccer Clubs focus on making soccer as enjoyable as possible for the majority of players so that they not only improve their skills, but develop a life-long love of the sport. Tryouts and skill grouping are not permitted at the recreational level of play. Players are assigned to teams with their friends, neighbors, and classmates based on their expressed preferences and past team assignments. All players in good-standing receive a minimum of 50% playing time in games. Teams are led by volunteer coaches with varying levels of experience and training. View our club Constitution and By-laws on the Form Library page for more information.

HSA: Competitive Soccer Clubs

HSA Select -- HSA launched the HSA Select Program during the 2015-16 program year. The program provides a select tier of instruction and play for members of the communities served by HSA. Volunteer coaches must apply to be considered to lead a team.
