Eligibility
DLL is open to all children between the ages of 4 and 14. A player's age is based on the National Little League age chart. The league is open to players who live within the established physical boundaries, subject to adherence to established rules and required parental support. In addition, player candidates must have parental or legal guardian consent. Players from neighboring communities wishing to play in Davis Little League will need to receive a Special Waiver Request signed by the District 64 administrator, the Davis Little League President and the President of the players home league. The special waiver can be found here.
League Structure
DLL offers seven levels of play, split into two divisions. Players will be placed in the American or National division for their level, based on where they live or attend school in Davis. When there are not enough players to field teams in each division, teams maybe comprised from players throughout Davis. Players age 4-12 play in the age and skill appropriate level. For a better understanding of what level your child may play at, refer to the recommended player divisions below. Davis Little League offers the following levels of play:
- Tee Ball (Little League ages 4/5/6)
- Minors - Farm (Little League ages 6/7/8)
- Minors - AA (Little League ages 7/8/9)
- Minors - AAA (Little League ages 9/10/11)
- Majors (Little Leagues ages 10/11/12)
- Intermediate - 50/70 (Little League ages 12-13)
- Juniors - (Little League ages 12-14)
Recommended Player Divisions
The grid below reflects the intended structure of the league, with guidance for each age level. Your player's Little League Baseball Age is their age on September 1 of the year in which the season is played. Please see the appropriate Little League International Age Chart for details for the current year. (Note: for Fall Ball, the age calendar flips to that of the coming year.)
