Join us for another great season of Davis Little League baseball!
Our spring program is open to boys and girls ages 4–14 and focuses on skill development, teamwork, and fun. Teams typically begin practice in late February, with games running March through May.
Below are our division overviews to help you find the right fit for your player.
Tee Ball (Ages 4–6)
A great introduction to baseball for our youngest players. Kids learn the fundamentals of throwing, catching, hitting off a tee, and running the bases in a fun, supportive environment. Every player bats and plays in the field each inning.
Farm Division
For players 6 and up with at least one year of Tee Ball experience.
This is where players begin to learn the basic rules of the game, play with outs, and hit coach-pitched balls instead of using a tee. The focus is on building throwing, catching, and batting confidence.
AA Division
The first level with live pitching and limited base stealing.
Players are introduced to a larger field and begin to specialize in positions. AA is ideal for those developing consistency in fielding and hitting before advancing to higher competition levels.
AAA Division
A step up in skill and speed.
Players build on what they learned in AA with faster pitching, more strategic plays, and fewer restrictions. Some players may repeat AAA to strengthen their skills before moving to Majors. Games are typically played on larger fields under the lights.
Majors Division
For experienced players ready for competitive Little League baseball.
The pace of play increases significantly, with faster pitching, consistent defensive play, and greater use of strategy. All Little League Age 12 players must register for Majors.
50/70 Division
For players who have aged out of Majors (LL Age 13).
This transitional level uses a larger field (50-foot mound, 70-foot bases) and introduces intermediate-level strategies, including leading off and pick-offs. Games include both home and travel play within our District (Vacaville, Woodland, Dixon, and Winters).
Juniors Division
For LL Age 14 players.
Played on a full-sized field with other teams across our District. Games are held locally at Civic Field or Playfields, with away games in neighboring towns. This division continues skill development and prepares players for high-school-level baseball.
Challenger Division
For players age 4-18.
The Little League Challenger Program is Little League’s adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges. Buddies are individuals available to assist Challenger athletes in the areas of batting, base running and defense, but only as needed. Flexibility and adaptability are key during Challenger games.
