Batting Helmet UPDATE: Starting Spring 2026, every team AA division and above will be provided with a batting helmet with an attached chin/jaw guard (“C-flap”). Families may buy their own NOCSAE-certified model if preferred (see below).
We are currently updating our batting helmet policy for all AA divisions and above, and expect to require these helmets beginning in Fall 2026.
Little League International allows helmets only if the jaw guard is built in or approved by the manufacturer. If your child already owns a helmet, you may purchase a manufacturer-approved chin flap attachment only if the helmet brand permits it. Please ensure it is a NOCSAE-certified model. Aftermarket, “universal fit,” or self-drilled guards are not allowed.

MD Note Requirement: If your child has to miss >7 days of baseball due to illness/injury (ex: mono, injury from recess/flag football, baseball injury, etc.), an MD note is required prior to their return to their first practice stating that they are "cleared to play baseball", and sent to [email protected].
