SPRING REC SOFTBALL REGISTRATION OPEN DECEMBER 14TH. 2025

Dates to Remember:

Friday, January 24th: Spring Registrations End (late fee after January 18th)

Saturday, January 25th: PARK OPENING DAY & EVALUATIONS

Wednesday, January 29th: Official Practices Begin

Monday, February 17th: Regular Season Games Begin

Monday, May 5th: Playoffs Begin (Championship Series best of 3)

Saturday, May 17th: Spring Season Ends

To avoid a late registration fee of $100, you must be signed up for our spring season by Saturday January 18th 2025. 

During the SPRING season, there will be ONE GAME during a weeknight and ONE GAME during the weekend. 

Practices will be scheduled by the optimist for the first 3 weeks of the season. When season begins, there will be limited practices scheduled by the optimist however head coaches may schedule a practice in the grass at there discretion. 

A game and practice schedule will not be made until we know how many teams are in each division.

Spring season will have a full playoff series for 2 weeks in May that will commence with a Championship Series for the final 2 teams that advance. 

Cooper City Optimist Softball shall be committed to providing organized softball leagues to the youth of the community.  The mission of Cooper City Optimist Softball shall remain constant: To instill, in the youth of the community, ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority. This objective will be reached by providing supervised competitive games and practices. The Softball Board, league officials, coaches, umpires, parents and volunteers shall bear in mind at all times that the winning of games is secondary to the attainment of athletic skills and to the development of finer, stronger and happier youth who will grow up to be good, clean and healthy adults.
