Welcome to South Florida's longest running and most successful softball recreational program. Cooper City Optimist's softball program was one of the first 4 sports since the inception of the optimist program in 1972. For 52 years, our program has been a start for so many successful athletes that have gone on to excel on the diamond through high school and college. We consist of girls from the ages of 4 years old all the way up to 16 years old. Our 6u division starts on a tee and our 8u division is coach pitch. We introduce kid pitch at 11u and by 14/16u, we are at high school distances. We are a volunteer driven league led by league commissioners and outstanding coaches. Whether it's your first time playing softball or your 5th time, you will have lots of fun while playing competitively.

Our travel teams are highly competitive and we fully represent our city with 8u,10u,12u, and 14u divisions. We play some of the biggest USSSA, PGF, and USFA tournaments throughout the state. Our travel coaches also consist of volunteers who have come up through the Cooper City program and are giving back their knowledge to the youth of Cooper City.

Whether you play in our recreational or travel programs, it's easy to see why Cooper City is "someplace special"
