We are using a new platform, SportsEngine, to streamline the registration process for our youth and adult leagues (links below). This is a partnership with the City of Cooper City. You may need to create a SportsEngine, account for you or your child.

Youth Beach Volleyball is offered for children born after August 2017 in the U10, U12, U14 and Senior Kids Divisions. All divisions are COED.

REGISTRATION COST
The registration cost for a resident is $165, and the cost for a non-resident is $230.
An additional $25 late fee will be charged after May 13th.
CCO Beach Volleyball Summer 2026
• Registration without a late fee May 2 to May 13
• Youth Player Evaluations - Saturday May 16, 2026 Time: TBD
• Player Drafts - May 18 to May 22
• Preseason Practices - May 26 to June 5
• Uniform Pick Up - (Tentative) June 6, 2026
• Season Begins – Saturday, June 6, 2026
• Playoffs Begin July 13, 2026
• Season Ends - Saturday, August 8, 2026

Once registrations are complete we will work to appoint coaches, assemble teams through a draft and order uniforms.

BEACH VOLLEYBALL MISSION STATEMENT
Cooper City Optimist Beach volleyball is run by a committed group of volunteer parents that share the same vision and goal. We are dedicated to the development of the sport of Beach volleyball from four years old through high school seniors. We strive to teach and enhance the fundamentals of the sport at the youth level so players may develop a life-long love of the game. We offer opportunities to participate and advance in the sport for youth recreational and competitive players.
Our recreational program (or "Rec") Beach volleyball is open to every child wanting to play Beach volleyball. It is designed to provide a fun atmosphere, where players can both learn the game and develop the skills necessary to play it well. With our main emphasis is on having fun. The philosophy of recreation is to create a fun environment that players learn the basics of Beach volleyball, rules and teamwork. Recreational Beach volleyball is a great opportunity for beginners and experienced players who want limited competition and a more relaxed atmosphere with emphasis on having fun.
