Hi U11-U19 Recreational Coaches,
Registration for the 2019 Recreational Cup is now open. Please read the information below and indicate (by reply to this email) if you would like your team to participate in this tournament this fall.
- The Recreational Cup is available for any WSSC U11 and above rec team that is participating in the HSA, SSUL Rec and SYSA leagues. The Rec Cup is the only state cup restricted to recreational teams only, but could involve travel around the state. If you believe your team can compete against the best Rec teams in the state, registration is open NOW through Sept 28.
- The WSSC will register your team upon your confirmation, and pay the entry fee ($75 for SSUL teams or $120 for non-SSUL teams). Please make sure your team is up for this before sending in your confirmation!
- Games will be played during the regular season, with the SSUL preliminaries and finals in Oct/Nov. The State quarters, semis and finals will be the first two weekends of December.

- The tournament organizers will try to avoid conflicts with your regular league games by placing them on the alternate weekend day, but if you enter your team in the tournament you should be prepared to move or re-schedule games to accommodate. Make sure your team is prepared to commit to these extra games!

- Oct 4 - SSUL Mandatory Recreational Cup Coach Conference Call - 7:00pm (call details to be provided)
- Oct 19/20 - SSUL Rec Cup Preliminaries Begins
- Nov 23/24 - SSUL Rec Cup Finals (Locations TBD)
- Dec 7/8 - State Quarterfinals (Could be anywhere in the state)
- Dec 14/15 - State Semifinals/Finals (Starfire Complex Tukwila, WA)
