Pony Bat Rule Changes for 2020: PONY Bat Rules
Bats no longer eligible for use: PONY Decertified Bat List
The cost for the program is $285 which includes a player jersey w/name and number and cap. For families registering siblings, the cost is $275 for the first child and $175 for the second child. **PAYMENT IS DUE IN FULL AT TIME OF REGISTRATION**
Participation in our chocolate fundraiser is mandatory (buyout option available). Each FAMILY is required to sell 2 boxes of chocolates. No snack bar deposit; no mandatory volunteer hours.
GLENDORA PONY is very proud of our continued dedication to providing a positive, supportive and competitive environment in which players can grow in strength and confidence to achieve their personal best. Regardless of ability, all players are encouraged to participate and expected to bring their best effort.
We continue to play under charter with PONY as part of West Zone-East Region under directors Steve Workman and Bill Skelton. Within our own league, the cornerstone is that you may not sit on the board or rules committee If you have a child in the league. This ensures that all decisions are impartial. Our sole motive in committing ourselves to your children is to create a safe and rewarding environment in which they can grow as players and individuals. We are always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
On the Pony registration page, you will find both the age chart and bat rules (including current decertified bats). If changes to the age chart limited a player to one year in Pony, that player is invited back to play their 2nd year in Pony but would not be eligible for all stars. If a player is still in middle school and has only played one year of Pony baseball, those players are also invited back.
Recruited players MUST email the league to confirm their recruitment and ALL PLAYERS, INCLUDING RECRUITED PLAYERS, MUST REGISTER AT SIGN UPS.
ALL PLAYERS (EXCEPT RECRUITED PLAYERS) MUST TRY OUT
ALL REGISTERED PLAYERS ARE GUARANTEED TO PLAY!
ALL INDIVIDUALLY REGISTERED GLENDORA PONY PLAYERS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR ALL STARS. **HOWEVER, PLAYERS WHO PLAY IN MORE THAN ONE SANCTIONED PONY LEAGUE ARE INELIGIBLE FOR ALL STAR CONSIDERATION. **PLAYERS ARE FREE TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY OTHER BASEBALL PROGRAMS, INCLUDING TRAVEL BALL AND SENIOR LEAGUE, WITHOUT COMPROMISING THEIR ALL STAR ELIGIBILITY
