Glendora PONY Baseball is proud to continue to offer a true community-based youth sports program with a tradition of more than 50 years! Our program is open to all league-age 13/14 year olds (age of player on 8/31/22) as well as 15 year olds who are in 8th grade or HS freshmen not playing in any other program. (15 year olds are not eligible for end-of-season All Star selection)
■ALL REGISTRATIONS must be completed by Saturday, February 19, but we strongly encourage you to complete registration by Saturday, February 12 to be able to participate in the first tryout. (See REGISTRATION DATES page for all registration dates and times).
■There will be two opportunities to try out: The first tryout will be held during the last session of the pre-season program. Players NOT participating in the pre-season who have registered by February 12th will take part in this tryout. Late registrations (February 19) will try out on Monday, February 21st. Players participate in one tryout only.
■Teams will tentatively be drafted on Wednesday, February 23, with practices tentatively scheduled to begin no later than Saturday, February 26.
■The first three weeks of March will be dedicated to practices and the annual mini tournament held at the start of each spring season. The regular season will begin immediately after spring break.
■The regular season is currently scheduled to end the last week of May with playoffs immediately following.
Although Covid restrictions may alter things, we plan to resume interleague in the spring with other PONY leagues and will make every effort to offer your players a strong, competitive, and diverse program.
The cost of the spring program is $250 which includes a jersey, cap, and practice shirt.
There will be NO FUNDRAISER in 2022 and there is NO SNACK BAR DUTY OR DEPOSIT.
