■Because of the tremendous success of our 2021 pre-season which was re-formatted due to Covid, Glendora PONY has decided to offer the pre-season Skills & Drills program again in 2022.  This program gives the boys a place to sharpen their skills and remain baseball ready for the start of the spring season in a positive and supportive environment while working with the APU Baseball team on our field!  For those of you who participated in the 2021 pre-season and our 2021 fall season, you already know the camaraderie that develops between our boys and the boys of APU!   Each session with be two-part: a core-training 27 minute workout taken from APU’s baseball program, and a skills session which will change week to week to help sharpen the boys for baseball.

■This will be a SIX WEEK PRE-SEASON, beginning the week of January 10th.  The program will meet twice weekly 6:15-8 pm.  The cost for the pre-season program is $95, including a “Skills & Drills”sports shirt. 

■It is important to know that we will follow all mandated city and county’s health and safety protocols.  Because of the ongoing Covid situation, spectators are encouraged not to attend pre-season sessions.  I will attend all sessions to ensure all safety protocols are implemented and to be your boys’ contact person if they need something during a session. - Lynda Denman, League President
