2023 Glendora PONY Winterballl Skills & Drills

Winterball is NOT a second Pony season. Since forming a partnership with Azusa Pacific University’s baseball program in 2020, we have developed a Skills/Drills/Games format which offers a positive, developmental program for both our returning Pony players and our new players coming up from little league – as well as players who are turning 14 and joining us for the first time! The format includes infield and outfield sessions (Skills), core training using APU’s program of development (Drills), and informal games where our APU players form different teams each week and coach them in live game situations. The APU baseball team is fully involved in every aspect of the fall program, including our annual ‘Chili Cheese Fries” eating competition, where older players, younger players, and APU players face off in a spirited eating contest in hopes of taking home the coveted GOAT trophy!!!

Program begins the week of September 11 and is a twice-weekly, 9-week program

The fee for Winterball is $150 (sibling discount: 2nd player $100)

Players receive a Winterball shirt and cap

Payment may be made with cash, check, or Zelle (on-site signups only, no online registration)
