■Due to COVID-19 and the protocols mandated by Los Angeles County, the City of Glendora and the GUSD, our program has been reworked to allow us to continue to offer the boys a place to sharpen their skills and remain baseball ready for the start of the delayed spring season.  This is more important than ever this year when the boys are not in school and missing the structure and social aspects of group settings.  It is our goal to deliver a fitness program that gets the boys moving after so many months without PE while incorporating the sport they miss!  Each session with be two-part: a core-training workout taken from APU’s baseball program, and a skills session incorporating multiple fundamentals to help sharpen the boys for baseball.

■This will be FOUR WEEK PROGRAM (10 sessions) beginning Saturday, January 30.  This program has a limited maximum registration due to Covid restrictions and spots can be reserved by emailing [email protected] 

 ( For league-age PONY players, if we are not allowed to proceed to the ‘spring season phase 1’when the pre-season ends, we will continue to offer the Skills and Drills Program for those who wish to continue.)

■It is important to know that there will be strict health and safety protocols (located on the website) in place and, to remain in the program, the boys need to adhere to them.  Because of the current Covid situation, spectators are asked not to attend pre-season sessions.  I will attend all sessions to ensure all safety protocols are implemented and to be your boys’ contact person if they need something during a session.

We ran this program at Louie Pompeii in the fall and feel confident in our format and the safety protocols that we will have in place!
