GLENDORA BASEBALL
____________________
Glendora PONY Baseball is proud to continue to uphold a tradition of over 50 years in Glendora providing ALL Pony-age kids in our community a competitive and positive environment – an environment in which players can grow in strength and confidence and achieve their personal best, regardless of ability. All kids are invited to participate and every player is a valuable part of our program.
We continue to be a chartered member of PONY Baseball as part of West Zone, East Region under our director, Bill Skelton. Within our own league, the cornerstone of our program is the fairness that comes from an impartial board. You CANNOT sit on the board or rules committee if you have a player in the league. This ensures that all decisions are impartial and in the best interest of every player in the league. Our sole motive in committing ourselves to your children is to create a safe and rewarding environment in which they can thrive as players and individuals. We are always available to address any questions or concerns you may have.
On our website, you will find both the age chart and bat rules. In compliance with our own league by-laws which supersede Pony rules during the season, we allow 15 year old players who do not play high school ball to participate, however, those players are ineligible to be elected to a PONY all-star team.
Players are invited to participate in our pre-season program with APU in January (see separate information flyer) but are not required to do so to play in our Spring program.
Sign-up dates and fees are posted separately.
