It is understood that all players, parents of players, & spectators will adhere to the Twin County Soccer Association (TCSA) Code of Conduct outlined below:
I/we shall show respect and positive support for coaches, officials, and all spectators prior to, during, and after the game;
I/we will ensure that my/our child behaves in a sportsmanlike manner;
I/we will demonstrate respect and support for all players prior to, during, and after the game;
I/we will be mindful of the need for player development over the need to win;
I/we will insist my/our child play in a safe and healthy environment;
I/we will ensure my/our child does not use performance-enhancing drugs;
I/we will be mindful of my/our role at all times, which is to provide support, and not openly instruct during the game nor openly interpret the rules;
I/we will abide by the rulings of the officials, coaches, league, and Twin County Soccer Association, Inc. (hereinafter TCSA) administrators during and after the game, and will wait twenty-four (24) hours before addressing a concern;
I/we will demand and demonstrate a healthy sports environment by refraining from drug, alcohol, and tobacco use during all sporting events;
I/we acknowledge that the NJ Youth Soccer Association (hereinafter NJYS) General Liability and Accident/Medical insurance programs do not cover players utilizing a facility/team that has not been sanctioned by NJYS [sanctioned facilities listed on NJYS website – NJYouthSoccer.com];
I/we also understand that photographs and images of players and spectators may be used on TCSA website and/or for advertising and submit to their use willingly and without reservation;
I/we, hereby give my/our approval for his/her participation in any and all TCSA activities. I/we assume all risks and hazards incidental to such, including participation and including transportation to and from activities and do hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify and agree to hold harmless the TCSA, the Township of Brick, the organizers, sponsors, supervisors, participants, and persons transporting, coaching, or refereeing my/our child for activities relating to the TCSA and for any claim arising out of injury to my/our child, whether the result of negligence or any other cause. I/we agree to obey and abide by all rules of TCSA and understand corrective action may be taken if rules are not obeyed;
I/we have read and understand the TCSA Player and Parental Pledge and Code of Conduct and am aware of the TCSA Sanctions in regard to enforcement thereof;
I/we pledge to follow the Code and TCSA policy regarding acceptable parental/player behavior;
I/we will accept and support TCSA sanctions imposed to foster a sportsmanlike atmosphere.
