About Our Micro Soccer Program
Intended for ages 3-12 years old, the aim of the Twin County Micro Soccer Program is to provide a fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for Brick Township's beginner soccer players to introduce them to the "beautiful game" and prepare them for the transition to more competitive play. Our Micro Soccer Program is player-centered and developmentally aligned with the US Youth Soccer Player Development Framework. Serving hundreds of youth players each season, you won't find a larger or more established program for beginner-level players around.
Why Our Micro Soccer Program is Unique
Unlike other "kiddie" programs that rely on inexperienced volunteers to teach your child soccer, at Twin County Soccer, your child will learn from our professional, fully licensed coaching staff who are trained to follow the most current US Youth Soccer coaching guidelines. This ensures that your child will learn soccer with the most fun, safe, and proven methodologies and techniques available. Our lead staff is USSF/NJYS licensed, including several former college-level soccer players who wish to share their love of the game. In addition to our licensed training staff, volunteers from our U12+ Twin County Soccer travel teams assist the lead staff in guiding and encouraging our Micro players. Trainer-to-player ratios are minimized to ensure that each player receives the attention they deserve.
A Pathway to More Competitive Play
Our Micro Soccer Program is designed to provide your child with the foundational skills they will need to play soccer at a more competitive level. For players seeking to take the next step in their game, we provide a pipeline to our boys and girls Travel Soccer Teams that are professionally trained and compete in the Ocean County Recreational (OCR), Monmouth-Ocean Soccer Association (MOSA), and Eastern Development Program (EDP) leagues. New teams are typically formed in the Spring/Summer prior to the Fall soccer season. Additionally, Tryouts/Talent ID days may be held several times throughout the year.
Compare and ask around and you will find that Twin County Soccer Micro Program prepares your player for future success and enjoyment of the game better than any other game in town!
