NJ Crush Fire White went into the CFC Tournament on the heels of a successful Spirit Cup Tournament and once again did not disappoint, beating South Shore 5-0 and Hatwell Strikers 4-0. Going into Sunday they needed a win against a very strong Middletown team from CT---This would put them into the final and what a game it was!! The Fire White were 2-0 down at half time and in the second half pulled it back and went 3-2 up only for Middletown to score with 2 minutes left to play to make the score 3-3. It looked to be all over for the Fire White, but they found one last burst of energy and scored a goal in the final seconds of the game to give them a 4-3 victory and a place in the final!
In the finals, Fire White played another Middletown team but this time it was just one to many Middletown teams for them to face in one day and eventually lost 0-2. But once again, a very successful weekend for the Fire White with 2 Final appearances out of 2 so far this season.
