G14 Tsunami

The Tsunami kicked off the 2015-16 season with a tournament championship at FC COPA during Labor Day weekend in Bordentown, NJ.  The team was extremely excited to have the opportunity to showcase their ability once again.  The team ended the weekend 3-1 overall.  All of the games showed their challenges allowing the girls to adjust and show some true character over the weekend.  The team is looking forward to the start the league and bring this success onto the field once again. 

The Tsunami White played some great soccer in the group stages and were worthy winners of the group. As they prepared for the final they new it was going to be a battle against a team that had scored plenty of goals in the group stages. A final that could have gone either way, with both teams exchanging blows and the game heading to penalties, until a late goal was scored by the opposition. There was no time for the Tsunami to mount a fight back, but were unlucky to finish runners up.
