ST. BRENDAN THE NAVIGATOR SOCCER

The St. Brendan the Navigator Soccer Program is open to parishioners from St. Brendan the Navigator parish. We will kick off the program with a summer camp in late July - registration below. For regular season we offer the following programs every Fall (August-October) and Spring (March-May):

Pre-K - 1st Grade (U6-U7) Saturday morning program. This program runs intramural soccer practices and games on Saturday mornings at the St. Brendan grass field. This is a parent driven program where parents help coach the teams.

2nd - 8th Grade (U8-U14) CMSL (Catholic Metro Soccer League) teams have practices at TBD Field and play both home and away games with other CMSL parishes in Atlanta. The St Brendan home field can vary but may be located at SJBA, Fowler Park or some other neutral site. These teams are parent coached and the teams will usually have a weeknight practice and then a game on the weekend - either Saturday or Sunday. Game schedules are released a week or two before the start of the season. There is usually a tournament at the end of the season. Format and league rules are available at the CMSL league page.

St. Brendan Spring 2023 Soccer

St. Brendan the Navigator Spring 2023 Soccer Program

The St. Brendan the Navigator ("BRN") Soccer Program is run by volunteers of the BRN Athletic Ministry. PLEASE do not register if you are not a BRN parishioner, or St John Bosco family. If you have any questions, please send a message to Trish Marmion [email protected].

The 2nd through 8th grade BRN soccer teams will participate in the Catholic Metro Soccer League (CMSL). Teams in the CMSL League compete against teams from other parishes and schools, including St. Brigid, Christ the King, Holy Spirit, Immaculate Heart of Mary, Our Lady of the Assumption, St. Jude, and St. Thomas More. CMSL games will be away games as we work on field availability closer to BRN.

The Spring Catholic Metro Sports League (CMSL) season will consist of 6 games beginning the weekend of March 11th and ending the weekend of April 29th. Games will be on either Saturday or Sunday with some weekends, you might have 2 games.

Registration begins January 10th and ends February 12th for the CMSL League and February 17th for the Pre K, U6 and U7 programs.

Registration Cost: $150.00

Uniforms: All 2nd -8th grade players will be required to purchase new uniform kits (includes jersey, shorts and socks) for $35 which will be good for up to 4 seasons.

The Pre-K through 1st grade BRN soccer program is an intramural program in which teams will play other teams from the BRN league with all games to be played on the BRN fields. All divisions will be divided by grades but will be Co-ed. If we have enough numbers in the divisions for both girls and boys, we will split by gender. Teams will be divided by the BRN committee based on skill level to equalize the teams.

Spring Break - April 1st - NO GAMES
Spring Break - April 8th - NO GAMES
Week 3 Games - April 15th
Week 4 Games - April 22nd
Week 5 Games - April 29th
Week 6 Games - May 6th
Jamboree for Kindergarten and Pre K - May 7th

The BRN Pre-K thru 1st Grade leagues will be organized as follows:

BRN Pre-K/ Kiddie Kickers Coed Saturday Program

9:00am - 10:00am Practices and Games combined on BRN field
Registration Cost: $115 (includes a t-shirt)

BRN U6/Kindergarten and BRN U7/1st Grade Coed Saturday Program

10:00am - 11:00am Practices and Games combined on BRN field
Registration Cost: $120 (includes a t-shirt)

Please note the following refund processes for cancellations after registration:

For the Pre-K program - a $25 refund fee will be charged for cancellations before the registration closing date of 2/17; a $45 refund fee will be charged for cancellations between 2/18 and 3/18; and no refunds will be allowed after 3/18.

For the U6 and U7 programs - a $25 refund fee will be charged for cancellations before the registration closing date of 2/17; a $50 refund fee will be charged for cancellations between 2/18 and 3/18; and no refunds will be allowed after 3/18

For the U8, U10, U12, U14 programs - a $30 refund fee will be charged for cancellations before the registration closing date of 2/12; a $60 refund fee will be charged for cancellations between 2/13 and 3/11; and no refunds will be allowed after 3/11

Uniform Refund Policy: You will receive a refund for a purchased uniform if you cancel your child's registration before the registration closing date of 2/12. However, after 2/12 there will be NO refunds for uniforms purchased.

We will continue to need Parent-Coach volunteers for the following:

PreK and U6-U7 BRN League (need 10-15)
U8, U10, U12 and U14 (Parents coach practices and games)
