CMLA High School Basketball

The Catholic Metro League of Atlanta High School League ("CMLAHS) is a recreational program primarily for Catholic Churches and Schools in the Atlanta area. CMLAHS provides a framework of rules, schedules and officials to coordinate a 9th - 12th grade program during the Winter season. We assist the parishes in coordinating their programs and are a member of Catholic Metro Sports of Atlanta.

Season: Register October/November & Play January-February (6 Game season w/Tournament for 9th-12th Grade)

Divisions:
Girls Open Division - 9th - 12th Girls - Teams can be mixed by grade
Boys JV Division - Teams are limited to 9th and 10th grade boys
Boys Varsity Division - Teams are limited to 11th and 12th grade boys

Player Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in CMLAHS a player must fulfill the following criteria:
- Have attended a Catholic elementary/middle school or
- Is presently attending a Catholic high school or
- Is an active member of a parish within the Archdiocese of Atlanta; and
- Must be enrolled in high school

PLAYER IS NOT ON ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ROSTERS:
a. Boys JV league and Varsity league participants must not be on any high school basketball roster (9th, JV or Varsity) at the commencement of the CMLAHS season.
b. Girls league participants must not be on a high school varsity basketball roster at the commencement of the CMHLA season.
