Sam Robb Memorial Holiday Classic

Sam Robb, a rising athlete at Blessed Trinity High School, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in 2002 at the age of 15. After countless rounds of chemotherapy and surgeries Sam's cancer was in remission. However, due to the illness Sam would be unable to play the sports he loved. Sam did not give up his dreams of being an athlete and changed his focus to other sports that could accommodate his new physical limitations. Sadly, on June 25, 2007 Sam Robb lost his battle with an unexpected relapse of the cancer.

In its 17th year, this tournament is a tribute to Sam and his perseverance to be an athlete no matter the obstacles. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Sam Robb Fund at CURE Childhood Cancer, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for childhood cancers. The Sam Robb Fund has raised more than $1.5 million since 2007.

Tournament Information:

Catholic Metro League of Atlanta ("CMLA") Tournament for Boys and Girls Grades 3rd-8th
Registration is open from 11-01-2024 until 12-20-2024
Tournament will take place over MLK Weekend (January 17th - 20th, 2025)
Games are spread between Blessed Trinity Catholic High School, Marist School, St. Jude, Our Lady of the Assumption, and Christ the King.
All players MUST be on an existing CMLA Roster
All active CMLA players that are registered Sam Robb participants will be placed on a team
All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 3 games, pool play
Tournament brackets are determined on the number of entries and grades may be combined if necessary
Registration is $50 per player (and includes a T-Shirt). Please note that if you registered your child AFTER the initial registration closing date of 12/20/2024, we can not confirm the correct t-shirt size will be available. We will do everything possible to provide your child with the requested size.
A $25 late charge will be assessed for registrations between 12-21-2024 and 01-04-2025
A $50 late charge will be assessed for registrations after 01-04-2025
A $10 refund fee will be charged for cancellations after the 12/20/2024 registration date to cover administrative costs.
