St. John the Evangelist 5th-8TH BASKETBALL PROGRAM

The St. John the Evangelist ("SJE") Basketball Program is run by the SJE Athletic Department.

Practices start early October and the season runs from November through early February. Games are on the weekends and a team practice is held on a weeknight (determined by the volunteer coaches and based on availability).

WAIT LIST PROCESS

Wait lists form when we reach the maximum number of players for a team and they are released when we reach the minimum for forming a 2nd team. It is highly likely that you will be placed on a team. Below shows the process.

Team 1 - max is 10 players

Waitlist forms at 10 for the next 6 players

Team 2 - min 16 players and maximum at 20 players

Waitlist forms at 20 for the next 4 players

Team 3 - minimum 24 players and maximum at 30 players

Our goal is to accommodate everyone and the waitlist process helps create a sense of urgency as we need to have teams formed before the registration deadline.
