SPC High School Basketball Program Registration

IMPORTANT - TEAM FORMATION
We recommend that participants register as a team with their friends. We cannot guarantee individual registrants placement on a team. If you need help getting in touch with teams that are forming contact [email protected] and we will put you in touch with identified team captains.

DIVISIONS: Girls Open Division - 9th - 12th Girls - Teams can be mixed by grade Boys JV Division - Teams are limited to 9th and 10th grade boys Boys Varsity Division - Teams are limited to 11th and 12th grade boys

SEASON INFORMATION
Registration usually runs from early November until the end of November.  Practices will depend on gym availability and may start in December. Season starts in January and ends in February. The teams will play 7 (primarily) Sunday games during the season which ends in a tournament.  Note that three season games are played on MLK weekend Sunday and Monday.

ELIGIBILITY: The league has eligibility requirements. Boys cannot be on a high school team roster. Girls cannot be on a varsity high school roster. For specifics please review the rules on the website:

St. Peter Chanel High School 2022 Basketball Program Registration

The St. Peter Chanel ("SPC") Basketball Program is run by volunteers of the SPC Athletic Ministry. For your information, the SPC high school basketball teams participate in the Catholic Metro League of Atlanta High School basketball program("CMLAHS"). To be eligible to participate in CMLAHS a player must fulfill the following criteria:
- Have attended a Catholic elementary/middle school or 
- Is presently attending a Catholic high school or
- Is an active member of a parish within the Archdiocese of Atlanta; and
- Must be enrolled in high school

PLAYER IS NOT ON ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ROSTERS:
  • a. Boys JV league and Varsity league participants must not be on any high school basketball roster (9th, JV or Varsity) at the commencement of the CMLAHS season.
  • b. Girls league participants must not be on a high school varsity basketball roster at the commencement of the CMLAHS season.

SEASON INFORMATION
Season starts in January and ends in February. The teams will play 7 (primarily) Sunday games during the season which ends in a tournament. There will be NO weekday practices held in the Queen of Angels gym.

REGISTRATION FEE
High-School Boys and Girls Registration $125
Jersey Fee $25 (if needed)
Registration Opens on November 1st
Registration Closes on November 30th

Please note the following refund processes for cancellations after registration:
A $25 refund fee will be charged for cancellations before 11/30/21; a $50 refund fee will be charged for cancellations between 12/1/21 and 1/9/22; and no refunds will be allowed after 1/10/22

Jersey Refund Policy: You will receive a refund for a purchased jersey if you cancel your registration before the registration closing date of 11/30. However, after 11/30 there will be NO refunds for jerseys purchased.

Processing Fees: For your information, Sports Connect charges a non refundable $3 Service Fee per transaction which will be added on to your Registration payment balance at checkout. This $3 fee will also be charged for each scheduled payment under the Payment Plan if you elect this option at the time of registration.
