What Happens If a Team Loses a Player?
Occasionally, a competitive team may lose a player due to injury, relocation, or other circumstances. When this happens, ECLL follows a structured process outlined in our bylaws to ensure fairness and league integrity.
Below is a summary of ARTICLE XXIV – PLAYER VACANCIES.

When a Manager becomes aware that a player is no longer participating:

Players will be assigned in the order they registered (first come, first served).

Step 2 – Draft-Up from AAA (Majors Only)
If:

Then:

A draft-up from the AAA division will occur.

-
The Manager has 7 days to select a replacement player.
-
If no selection is made within 7 days, the Player Agent will select the replacement.
Section 3 – Timing Restriction

AAA players have the right to refuse a draft-up.

If a player declines, they forfeit any future opportunity to be drafted up for the remainder of that season.
