ECLL Game Responsibilities

To help keep our fields safe, organized, and game-ready, both teams share responsibility before and after each game.

🏠 Home Team Responsibilities

• Rake and fill all holes at:

  • 1st Base

  • 2nd Base

  • 3rd Base

  • Home Plate

  • Pitcher’s mound (pregame)

• Set all bases

• Chalk batter’s boxes and foul lines

• Return chalk string and base dig-out tool to the field storage container

• Provide the official scorekeeper

• Turn in the official scorebook to:

  • Snack Shack (Oakley School), or

  • Conex locker (Laurel Fields)

Warm-Up Time

• The Home Team has the field for 10 minutes, beginning 20 minutes before game time.

🚗 Visiting Team Responsibilities

• Provide the official pitch counter

• Rake and fill all holes at:

  • 1st Base

  • 2nd Base

  • 3rd Base

  • Home Plate

  • Pitcher’s mound (postgame)

• Return all bases to the storage containers/Conex box

• Install all base plugs

• Return batter’s box templates, chalkers, and rakes to their proper storage boxes

Warm-Up Time

• The Visiting Team has the field for 10 minutes, beginning 10 minutes before game time.

🗑 Both Teams

• BOTH TEAMS are responsible for picking up any trash left in the dugouts and surrounding areas.
