LLU - Purpose of Creating Local BylawsBelow is Article I of our East County Little League Bylaws. These are some local rules that ECLL has implemented in order to keep each division progressing. Bylaws are reviewed every year by the board and updates can be made by vote. if you ever have questions about our Bylaws please let us know. These adopted rules are based on experience of many Managers over the years, but we always keep an open mind and would love to hear your thoughts.
ARTICLE I - ECLL OBJECTIVESection 1. The objective of East County Little League, hereafter referred to as "ECLL", is to implant firmly in the youth of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority; so that they may be well-adjusted, stronger, and happier children who will grow to become good, decent, healthy, and trustworthy citizens.Section 2. To achieve this, these 2024 ECLL BYLAWS are established to supplement ECLL's Constitution.Section 3. All duly adopted By Laws of ECLL shall be binding on all members of said league, but in no way shall these By Laws be in conflict with the rules and regulations of Little League Baseball, Inc.Section 4. The official playing rules and regulations as published by Little League Baseball, Inc. shall be binding on ECLL.
