We at East County Little League hope you are all doing well and staying healthy!
As our 2024 season begins, our board of volunteers are already busy planning for 2024 and beyond. We need you!
East County Little League is run 100% by volunteers. Without our community stepping up, we do not have a league. As one of the largest youth sports organizations in the area, we need many people to help spread out the man hours. We are currently looking for individuals to fill in on our Board of Volunteers. Being a member of the ECLL Board of Volunteers is a rewarding, often hilarious and enjoyable experience. We have a lot of fun, and we get to help hundreds of kids in our community experience an amazing game and learn valuable life lessons. Most of these roles are organizational and do not require a ton of Baseball or Softball experience. Training is available!
All positions in the board are available for consideration. In the link (2024 ECLL Board of Volunteers Nomination Form ) you will see all positions and a brief description of the duties; these responsibilities can be fluid as we often work together.
Nominate yourself for as many positions you are interested in. If you have not served on our board before, a member of our team will call you to check in and answer any questions you may have. If you would like to nominate someone else that you think would be a great fit for our origination please reach out, I would be happy to make a call!
We do work together as a team and volunteer jobs very often overlap. In the beginning of the season, we meet about twice a month, not including registration events. Once the season starts, we meet at least once a month and as necessary. We work as a team for all in person events.
