Are you interested in becoming an umpire?

East County Little League is looking for youth and adult umpires.

Youth umpires are a great way to learn a new aspect of the game.  Youth umpires start by covering AA and AAA games and can ultimately progress to cover Majors and above games. It is a great way to make some money with a flexible schedule where you get to pick the games that work for you. If you will be 13 or older on or before August 31, 2026, you are eligible to be a youth umpire.

Adult umpires are always welcome!  Being an adult umpire is a great way to get involved to help develop the youth umpires in our league. If your child is an umpire, it is also a great way to work with them on the field.

East County Little League will provide the a hat, indicator, ball bag, plate brush, and protective equipment (shared) needed to umpire.
