Fall Registration opens 6/18

Registration deadline for the Travel Program (U10, U12 and U14) is July 15th, late registration ($35 additional fee) available through July 25th
Registration deadline for the In Town Program (U6 and U8) is August 1st, late registration ($35 additional fee) available through August 26th

Season Start date for Travel is August 26th
Season start date for In Town is September 9th

The Grafton Soccer Club offers both an in-town program (Grades Pre-K through 2nd Grade) and a travel program (Grades 3 and up)

The in-town program is an introductory program so no experience is required. It is separated by grade into U6 (grades Pre-K through K) and U8 (Grades 1-2). Boys meet Saturday AM and girls Sunday PM. The U6 program consists of a 1-hour session (30 min skills training and 30 min game). The U8 program consists of a 1-hour game on weekends and a 1-hour practice during the week (date and times based on coach and field availability). All games and practices are at our local Grafton fields. Registration cost is $80 per player. No uniform is required. Team T shirts will be provided by the coach.

The Travel program is for players grades 3 and up. Games are held both in Grafton and at nearby towns (4 Home/4 Away format). Teams are formed based on skill assessment based on prior seasons coach evaluations with players of similar skills placed together as best as possible. In addition, each team will have a 60-90 min practice during the week (date and times based on coach and field availability). All practices are at our local Grafton fields. Registration cost is $110 per player. A uniform is required (cost is less than $40) and can be ordered on-line. Further instructions for ordering uniforms will be provided 4 weeks prior to the start of the season.

Scholarships based on need are available (please contact registrar). 

REGISTRATION INFORMATION AND KEY DATES: The fall 2023 registration deadline is July 15th for U10, U12 and U14 and August 1st for U6 and U8. This may seem early to you, but the planning needs, for both in-town and Travel leagues that we participate in, drive this date. Leagues ask for a commitment for the number of teams from each town as soon as possible. We need players registered by the deadline to ensure we enter enough teams for everyone to play. Once the number of teams is set, there is little flexibility to accept additional players. Late registrants participating in the Travel Program (U10 and up) cannot be guaranteed placement on a team

PLEASE NOTE: If you are interested in a High School level team, registration is not open at this time. Per GSC policy, a volunteer coach must enter an entire team and needs to notify the registrar to enter the team at which time you will receive instructions for registration on-line.

With on-line registration we will only be accepting debit or credit card payments. Should this not be possible for you, please contact the registrar at the email address provided below. 

New players must be prepared to supply a copy of a birth certificate to the registrar if requested.

COACHING: We are thankful to have a dedicated group of parents that volunteer to coach our teams. We offer refundable training courses through Mass Youth Soccer, weekly training opportunities through our affiliation with the New England Revolution Academy and additional guidance through our Coach Development Program to help our coaches be successful. If you are interested in coaching, please so specify during the registration process when asked about volunteer opportunities. If you are a new coach or your CORI has expired, you will need to complete a CORI check per state requirements. You will receive further information about the CORI registration process prior to the season.  Coaching assignments are made first based on experience and then by order of registration so please register early.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: Scholarships are available for those who cannot afford the registration or uniform fees. Our goal is to have kids play soccer regardless of financial ability to do so. To request a scholarship please contact the registrar or any other board member.
