Our Goal

Our goal at Down East Girls Softball League is to instill in our players a dedication to self-improvement through the development of softball skills and athletic ability, create a sense of connection to the community by the practice and modeling of good sportsmanship and team-focused goals, and provide a fun environment to cement a life-long love of softball.

All players are given game-situation playing opportunities in the field and at bat. The most important measure of our success is not the win-loss record, but rather that players have fun, develop key skills and values, and at the end of the season desire to continue playing softball at the next level.
