Free Tickets for Nationals vs. Phillies on June 16th!

Please review the following information for details and logistics:  

Who is eligible?

1.       Registered spring 2022 Northwest Little League players

2.       Registered spring 2022 Northwest Little League team coaches

 

How many tickets are given to each Nationals Team UP player and coach?

Two free tickets per player and coach.

 

What do I have to do to get my free Nationals Team UP tickets?

Players MUST wear their Nationals provided jersey or T-shirt to the ballpark in order to receive their tickets.  Kids that show up without their Nationals Uniform will not receive tickets–no exceptions.  Coaches MUST wear their Nationals issued coaches’ cap.  Without the cap, tickets will not be given-no exceptions.

 

How, where and when do I go to get my tickets?

  • Tickets are only available for pick up on the day of the game, Thursday, June 16.
  • Tickets are available beginning at 5:00 pm until the middle of the third inning
  • The ticket distribution location is next to the Home Plate Gate Entrance located on the corner of South Capitol St. SE and Potomac Avenue SE.

Can I get my tickets in advance or have them held for me?

No, the tickets are only available beginning at 5:00 on Thursday, June 16.

 

Can teams sit together?  Can we reserve tickets for sitting together as a team?

No, advance reservations are not available.  Youth players may have an opportunity to secure tickets together as a team if they arrive together or meet up at the ballpark and get in line together.

 

Where are the seating locations of the free tickets?

The tickets will be located throughout the ballpark in various levels and sections.  The exact location of the tickets distributed to you will not be known in advance.  All tickets and seating locations are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Can I get extra tickets for family members?

No more than two free tickets will be given to any single youth player or single coach.  There are ticket windows located at the ticket distribution point, where additional tickets may be purchased.  The complimentary tickets and the purchased tickets may not be seated together but the Nationals will make every attempt to seat families as close together as possible.

 

Other Ballpark Information

  • Gates will open at 5:30 pm for the 7:05 pm game.
  • The entire ballpark is cashless except for the Nationals Philanthropies 50/50 Raffle. E-cash, credit/debit cards and contactless payment methods are accepted.
  • Single-serving food items are allowed in Nationals Park, as long as they are contained in one of the approved bags under the Nationals current bag policy, or carried in your hands so the food items can be safely screened by security. Metal, plastic or glass containers of any kind (except for clear, factory-sealed or empty, plastic water bottles, no larger than one liter, juice boxes, insulin containers, and baby food) are prohibited. Only one water bottle per person will be permitted.Metro – closest station is the Navy Yard on the Green line. This station is located on M Street SE and Half Street SE.

 

Bag Policy

  • Any bag larger than a clutch (5” x 7” x ¾” must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC.

  •  Fans with diaper or medical bags may use ADA/Family lanes at the Center Field and Home Plate gates.

  •  Binbox is available for fans whose bags do not comply with ballpark regulations.

  •  Fans may bring a clutch (5” x 7” x ¾” or smaller) in addition to their clear bag.

  •  Due to MLB mandate, all guests must pass through a form of metal detection to enter the ballpark
