Coaching
Northwest Washington Little League (NWLL) operates with dedicated coaches that believe the values of teamwork, sportsmanship and citizenship can be taught to children through participation in Little League. We seek coaches with good moral character who offer a positive, character building youth baseball experience.
Division commissioners work closely with our coaches to guide them through each season. NWLL requires all volunteers to adhere to a code of conduct and league rules. All NWLL coaches and volunteers are required to register with NWLL and will be subject to a background check. The league reserves the right to deny participation to any player or individual.
Positive Coaching Alliance
NWLL coaches are encouraged to attend and participate in clinics that are held by the Positive Coaching Alliance. The Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) is a national non-profit with the mission to provide all youth and high school athletes a positive, character-building youth sports experience.
Volunteers
Coaches aren’t the only volunteers in our league. NWLL receives contributions from talented leaders who believe in our mission of providing a safe environment for kids to learn baseball and have fun.
NWLL requires all volunteers to adhere to a code of conduct and league rules. All NWLL coaches and volunteers are required to register with NWLL and will be subject to a background check. All coaches must show proof of completion of the CDC Concussion Training Course.
