McLean Youth Soccer (MYS) today announced a sponsorship renewal with Leidos (NYSE:LDOS), a FORTUNE® 500 science and technology leader headquarted in Reston, Va. The two-year sponsorship agreement keeps Leidos as the club's official, exclusive jersey and coach shirt sponsor for the club's recreation program.
MYS is the organizing body for the recreational soccer league serving the McLean community and is the largest athletic organization in Fairfax County with more than 4,500 youth players between the ages of 3-19. The club's mission is to develop youth through the sport by providing quality coaching, a high caliber environment and a commitment to best practices.Leidos' jersey sponsorship will allow MYS to continue to engage with youth from all socio-economic backgrounds by providing financial assistance to economically deprived families whose children would not be afforded the opportunity to participate and enjoy the benefits of sport. MYS believes that "no child should be left behind", and through Leidos' support, the club can fulfill its mission.

Leidos has long been a supporter of a variety of sports in the U.S., supporting teams that include D.C. United (soccer), the Washington Capitals (hockey), the Washington Wizards and the Washington Mystics (basketball), emerging e-sports teams Wizards District Gaming (NBA2k) and Caps Gaming (NHL 20), and numerous minor league baseball and youth soccer clubs.
McLean Youth Soccer leaders join Leidos Director of Communication and Marketing, Melissa Koskovich, Mike Coogan, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility & Community Relations and Drainesville Supervisor John Foust at the MYS Annual General Meeting. Leidos was presented with the MYS Community Appreciation Award in recognition for their support of the Association.
