The Fall 2020 All-Star Tournament has been CANCELED due to COVID-19 as Fairfax County Parks Authority has mandated that no tournaments can be played on their fields through the end of the year 2020.
The MYS All-Star program is an extension of the Recreational (House League) program, and provides players with an opportunity to play at a more competitive level.
All-Star teams typically participate in the following tournaments.
All registered MYS recreational players are eligible to play if they have are on a Recreation team during the current season. Players who are on waiting lists are not eligible to play.
There are 3-4 practices leading up to the tournament (practices are generally held on Sundays), and teams are coached by current MYS Rec coaches (volunteers).
Tournaments Directors exclude carded Travel Players from participation in these recreation-oriented tournaments. It is MYS' policy to require full and open tryouts for eligible players who are interested in an All-Star tournament experience.
Tryouts typically occur in week 2 or 3 of the Fall and Spring seasons (on Sundays). Information will be emailed and posted on this page when tryouts occur.
