Insurance Coverage
All registered WCJFA participants are expected, and required, to be covered by their family's primary health insurance plan.
WCJFA participants are also covered by a secondary heath insurance plan through the GEJFA and the Boys & Girls Club of Bellevue. A portion of your WCJFA registration fee is allocated to this secondary insurance coverage.
How it works
After filing an insurance claim:
- Your primary insurance pays up to the limits of its coverage.
- Secondary insurance provided by the Boys & Girls Club of Bellevue may pay additional costs that exceed the limits of your primary insurance. Note that secondary insurance does not guarantee that all medical costs are covered.
Filing a claim
If you need to file a claim:
- File a claim to your primary health insurance, as you would normally do in the event of an injury that requires the attention of a medical professional.
- Wait to be billed by your primary health insurance. If your primary insurance did not cover all medical costs, you can submit the claim to the Boys & Girls Club of Bellevue for additional coverage.
- File the claim wtih the Boys & Girls Club of Bellevue. Contact either Nick Warren or Stephanie Davidson at the Boys & Girls Club of Bellevue, and they will send you a claim form. Complete and submit the claim form, and they will submit the claim for processing on your behalf.
