Player Code of Conduct

As a Wildcats Junior football or cheer participant, I hereby pledge to maintain a positive attitude and be responsible for my actions-both on and off the field-by honoring the following Code of Conduct:

1. I will always display good sportsmanship towards fellow players, coaches, officials, and parents at every practice and game.

2. I will be a team player by getting along with my teammates and encouraging my teammates in a positive way.

3. I will work hard to improve my skills, and I will give my best effort in all practices and games.

4. I will be on time for practices and games, and will notify my coach in advance if I cannot.

5. I will learn the rules and play by them, both on and off the field.

6. I will inform a coach if a teammate appears hurt, disoriented, or exhibits any signs of a potential concussion.

7. I will respect, protect, and maintain my equipment.

8. I will treat all of my coaches with respect and I will expect to be treated accordingly.

9. I will encourage my parents to be involved with my team in some capacity because it's important to me.

10. I will do my best in school.

11. I will remember that football is a game and that sports are an opportunity to learn and have fun.

12. I will never display unsportsmanlike conduct to the opposing team, fellow players, coaches, or any league representatives on the field or in any social media (Facebook, Instagram, and so on.)

13. I understand that all I, as a participant in the Wildcats Junior Football and Cheer program, represent my self, my family, my team, the WCJFA program, and my entire community of the Snoqualmie Valley, and will act in accordance with the values of WCJFA and the Snoqualmie Valley School District.

14. I will demonstrate Wildcats PRIDE (Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Dependability, Encouragement) at all times, both on and off the field.

15. I will set an example in personal conduct at all times, both on and off the field.

I understand that I must follow this Player's Code of Conduct and that if I do not, I could be disciplined including a loss of playing time and suspension from games.
