About Us

Civitan Club of Hendersonville is a non-profit organization that is run completely on volunteer hours from members of our community. We proudly offer the following youth sports programs to our community; Basketball, Baseball: Rec, Open and Middle School Leagues, Slow Pitch Softball, Fast Pitch Softball, Football: Flag and Tackle, and Cheerleading.

The programs and fundraisers we manage help support the many contributions we've made to our community, which include: Sports Scholarships, Sponsoring Thanksgiving and Christmas Families, Donations to families in crisis and improvements to the Drakes Creek Park facility.

Interested in getting involved in your community? We have open meetings the 2nd Wednesday of each month, and welcome anyone to come join in. Meetings are held at 7:00 pm in the Football Field House at Drakes Creek Park. Membership is free in exchange for participation in fundraisers, events, and/or programs. If you have any questions, or want more information, feel free to contact any board member.

Policies & Procedures

All policies below are provided as parent/guardian waivers in the player registration form. The cancellation-refund policy is sport specific and varies from program to program.

Order Cancellation-Refund Policy

If for any reason, a parent/guardian needs to withdraw their player from a Civitan sport, the following policy will be followed (Cheer & Team registrations excluded):

Withdrawal from a program BEFORE Civitan orders uniforms (usually draft day) will result in a cancellation fee of $17 per player.
Withdrawal from a program AFTER uniforms are ordered but BEFORE the start of games will result in a cancellation fee of $72 per player.
No refunds will be issued once games have begun.
Late registrations fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Sports Connect charges a $3 processing fee on each order. This fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Withdrawal from the cheer program BEFORE the MANDATORY uniform fitting will result in a cancellation fee of $17.
No refund will be issued if athlete withdraws from the cheer program AFTER being fitted for her uniform.
Late registrations fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Sports Connect charges a $3 processing fee on each order. This fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.

To be eligible for any portion of the refund policy above, the ACCOUNT HOLDER must contact the program director for that sport or the Civitan Administrative Assistant to request the order cancellation and refund. While we encourage parents/guardians to notify your child's coach, this does not constitute notifying Civitan. Contact information can be found by clicking here.

Order Cancellation-Refund Policy- Team Registrations (when paid as team fee by coach or manager):

Team registration fees are paid by the coach or the team manager who completes the registration. Individual player registrations are completed for legal and roster purposes, but no fees are paid to Civitan by the player's parent/guardian; therefore, no refunds will be issued for player withdrawals from the team. The Head Coach would be responsible for any player refunds per the team's policy. The ACCOUNT HOLDER must contact the program director for that sport or the Civitan Administrative Assistant to request the order cancellation AND notify the team coach of player's withdrawal. Photo Release Policy:
By registering your child in any Civitan sport, you are providing consent for Civitan Club of Hendersonville to use any photos/videos of yourself and/or your minor child, in future Civitan Club of Hendersonville brochures, flyers, websites, social media, photos and videos of its programs and their participants, which may be used for promotional and instructional purposes. All such photos/videos remain the property of Civitan Club of Hendersonville.

Concussion Policy:
In accordance with the TN State Concussion Law, Civitan requires all Head Coaches to complete and pass a concussion training course and follow CDC recommendations for concussion evaluations and safe play guidelines.
