2026 EVALUATION INFORMATION

IN-PERSON UNIFORM FITTING:
Wednesday 1/28/26  - Midway Park Community Building, 5:00PM - 7:30PM 

We will update you on any evaluations changes due to weather or field conditions as soon as we can.  Thank you for your patience and understanding that we can't control the weather.***

2026 Spring Baseball and Softball Evaluations are at Midway Park 

Baseball / Softball Evaluations:

Recreation baseball/softball evaluations will be held outside (please dress accordingly!) on January 24, 2026.
Times and field locations will be posted below. 

For on-field evaluations, players will be run through a series of basic drills in front of their age group coaches and Midway board members so that skill level can be determined for the player draft. The evaluation is not meant to cause any player anxiety/nervousness. It is a Forsyth County requirement to ensure that teams are distributed fairly and competitively.  We simply ask that all players do their best!  Independent evaluators are used for all age groups.

Please try to arrive 15 minutes prior to your evaluation time and be sure that you bring all required gear / proper clothing for the weather. 

IN THE EVENT OF BAD WEATHER PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAILS FIRST THING IN THE MORNING TO DETERMINE IF THERE HAVE BEEN ANY CHANGES TO THE EVALUATION SCHEDULE!!

Evaluation Times / Field Assignments

 Please see below for your son or daughter’s evaluation time. Please try your best to attend your scheduled time slot based on your last name.  If a player is not able to be at evals during their timeframe, they may come during any timeframe for their age group.  Players who cannot make evaluations will still be placed on a team through a random process.

6U       Uniform Sizing Only - No Evaluations

8U       Last Name     A-M      2:00pm - 2:45pm
       N-Z      2:45pm - 3:30pm

10U     Last Name     A-M     12:15pm – 1:00pm
                                  N-Z      1:00pm - 1:45pm

13U     Last Name     A-M     10:45am - 11:30am
            N-Z      11:30am - 12:00pm

WEATHER: In the event we need to reschedule due to weather, we will attempt evaluations 1/31/26.  We will send out an email if there are any changes. 

IMPORTANT EVAL NOTES:

-       To be eligible for majors, a player must be at evaluations.

- Head coaches & assistant coaches kids must be evaluated. 

-       Any players who evaluate high enough in evaluations to be on a majors team and that are selected for a majors team must play on a majors team.
