ZERO tolerance with umpires from spectators, players and coaching staff; to avoid ejections, please be on your best behavior. Managers, please advice all your families.

Game Format:
• Farm Division: 3 innings total; first two innings with 5 run limit per inning, the 3rd inning will be an open inning with no run limit.
Time Limits:
No new inning at 1hr 15 min
Drop dead at 1hr 30 min
* Games are based on innings but time limits apply. If time is reached, score reverts back to last inning (if last inning was a tie, score reverts back to previous inning). No ties, there must be a winner at the end of each playoff game.

• Minor Division: 4 innings total; first three innings with 5 run limit per inning, the 4th inning will be an open inning with no run limit.
Time Limits:
No new inning at 1 hr 45 min
Drop dead at 2 hrs

* Games are based on innings but time limits apply. If time is reached, score reverts back to last inning (if last inning was a tie, score reverts back to previous inning). No ties, there must be a winner at the end of each playoff game.

• Major Division: 6 innings total, no run limits
Time Limits:
No new inning at 2 hrs
Drop dead at 2 hrs 15 min

* Games are based on innings but time limits apply. If tie game when limits are reached- please refer to LL Tournament Playing Rule 14. No ties, there must be a winner at the end of each playoff game.

Mercy Rule:
15 run lead after 3 innings
10 run lead after 4 innings
8 run lead after 5 innings

Home Team Designation:
• In the first round, the higher-seeded team will be the home team. (as stated in the bracket)

• For all subsequent rounds, home team will be determined by a coin flip.

Dugout Guidelines:
• Each team is allowed a maximum of three coaches in the dugout during the game. These must be the same three coaches designated prior to the start of the game. (No going in and out of dugout swapping coaches) Two Coaches and the Manager.

• Dugouts will be sectioned off with caution tape to maintain a focused environment and keep spectators, including parents, at a distance from players. Parents and extra coaches, Please do not approach the dugout at any time.

Manager Duties:
• Maintain accurate NEW Pitch Count Sheet during the entire playoff season. Pitch Count Sheet can be downloaded here.

• Managers to check-in with scorekeeping booth after every inning to ensure accurate score/pitch count is taken.

• Offense: 3rd base coach, 1st base coach and manager on the field (stay in the box)

• Defense: Only manager on the field (around dugout)

• Only Manager speaks to umpires and does pitching change/mound visits

• No on deck batters

Playoff Scorekeepers:
• Managers to assign an ADULT and EXPERIENCED Scorekeeper/Pitch Count

• Home team to provide the Scorekeeper

• Visitor team to provide the pitch count/control console operator

On-Site Oversight:
• The DOD (Director on Duty) is a board member assigned that will be responsible for ensuring rules are followed and maintaining order throughout the games.
