Rookie Division

League Ages: 4-6

Birthdate Range: Sep 1, 2018 - Aug 31, 2021

The Rookie Division introduces young players to baseball through tee pitch and coach pitch, focusing on basic skills like throwing, catching, and hitting. Players learn the rules, base running, and teamwork in a positive, fun environment that fosters a love for the game. 

No postseason games or tournaments


FARM DIVISION

League Ages: 7-8

Birthdate Range: Sep 1, 2016 - Aug 31, 2018

In the Farm Division, players transition to a more competitive format, with coach pitch first half of the season and player pitch second half. Umpires officiate games, and players develop their skills and teamwork while learning more about walks, steals, scoring, and standings. Games have official scoring, and standings are recorded since teams compete for a division championship. 

Players may qualify for the 8U All Star Team which is a only a District 19 tournament. 

Minor Division

League Ages: 9-10

Birthdate Range: Sep 1, 2014 - Aug 31, 2016

The Minor Division introduces full player-pitch games, with a focus on competitive play and learning advanced baseball strategies like stealing and bunting. Umpires officiate, and teams compete in a regular season championship with post-season tournament opportunities. Games have official scoring, and standings are recorded since teams compete for a division championship with champion team representing WCALL in District 19 "Tournament of Champions (TOC)". 

Players may qualify for the 9U or 10U All Star Team and compete against other nearby districts. 

Major Division

League Ages: 11-12

Birthdate Range: Sep 1, 2012 - Aug 31, 2014

The Major Division offers advanced skill development and complex strategies in a competitive environment. Players refine their pitching, hitting, and teamwork. Games have official scoring, and standings are recorded since teams compete for a division championship with champion team representing WCALL in District 19 "Tournament of Champions (TOC)". 

Players may qualify for the 11U or 12U All Star Team with potential exposure to the Little League World Series (12U Only).


Intermediate-50/70 Division

League Age: 13

Birthdate Range: Sep 1, 2011 - Aug 31, 2012

The Intermediate Division is a transitional program where players are preparing to transition from 46/60-foot fields to 60-foot pitching distance and 90-foot base paths. Therefore, games are not held at Cortez Park but within our District. As a Competitive Division, The focus is on learning new skills like leading off bases with longer inning games along with preparing players for most competitive arenas of Youth Baseball such as Junior Division or High School level.  Games have official scoring, and standings are recorded since teams compete for a division championship with champion team representing WCALL in District 19 "Tournament of Champions (TOC)". 

Players may qualify for the 13U All Star Team and compete against other nearby districts. 


Junior Division

League Age: 14

Birthdate Range: Sep 1, 2010 - Aug 31, 2011

The Junior Division introduces the most competitive level of play on a full-sized field. Juniors baseball is played using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches. Therefore, games are not held at Cortez Park but within our District.
Players further refine their skills, preparing for high school baseball, and compete in a highly competitive environment. Games have official scoring, and standings are recorded.

Players may qualify for the 14U All Star Team and compete against other nearby districts.
