Registration FAQ

1. How do I verify my child’s eligibility to play at WCALL?

If your child is 7 or younger, there is no geographic boundary limitation for Farm and Rookie divisions, and no proof of address is required. However, For players aged 8 and older, you can verify eligibility in one of two ways:

• Option 1 - School Waiver: Submit a signed School Enrollment Form if your child attends a school within WCALL’s boundaries.

• Option 2 - Home Address: If your child’s school is outside WCALL’s boundaries, but your home address is within, upload proof of residency (documents dated between February 2024 and February 2025).


2. What are the age divisions and how is my child’s division determined?

The division your child plays in is determined by their League Age, which is based on their birthdate. For the 2025 season:

• Rookie Division (Ages 4-6): Sep 1, 2018 - Aug 31, 2021

• Farm Division (Ages 7-8): Sep 1, 2016 - Aug 31, 2018

• Minor Division (Ages 9-10): Sep 1, 2014 - Aug 31, 2016

• Major Division (Ages 11-12): Sep 1, 2012 - Aug 31, 2014

• Intermediate Division (Age 13): Sep 1, 2011 - Aug 31, 2012

• Junior Division (Age 14): Sep 1, 2010 - Aug 31, 2011

3. How do I register my child for the 2025 season?

• To register your child, visit www.wcall.org and follow the prompts to complete online registration. Registration will close on Friday, January 10, 2025. If you have any questions during the process, feel free to contact Emma Ousterhout at [email protected].


4. What is the registration deadline, and can I register late?

• Registration closes on Friday, January 10, 2025.  Due to a draft process, organizing teams and uniform order schedules. There will be no late registrations accepted. 


5. What are the registration fees and what do they include?

Registration fees for the 2025 season are as follows:

• Rookie Division: $225

• Farm, Minor, Major, Intermediate, and Junior Divisions: $275

These fees include a game jersey, practice jersey, hat, photo package, yearbook, awards, and umpire fees (except Rookie Division).


6. Are there any additional fees or fundraising obligations?

Yes, there are a few additional fees that are due at the time of registration:

• Snack Bar Deposit: A $150 deposit that can be refunded after completing 5 hours of snack bar duty.  You may also opt out by forfeiting the deposit.

• Raffle Ticket Fundraiser: A $50 fee for a raffle ticket book, which can be recouped by selling the raffle tickets. Raffle tickets will be distributed at player evaluations. Additional books available for purchase. 


7. What if I need to request a refund?

The last day to request a refund is January 10, 2025. A $25 cancellation fee will be applied, and no refunds will be issued after this date. To request a refund, please email both Brittney Schwab, Treasurer at [email protected] and Emma Ousterhout, President at [email protected].


8. What documents are required for registration?

For players League Age 8 and above, you’ll need to provide the following documents. These documents can either be uploaded online during registration or brought on document collection day.

• A Medical Release Form

• Proof of eligibility through either a School Enrollment Form or Home Address Verification



9. Can I request that my child play with a specific team or friend?

Sibling requests will be considered. However, friend requests are not allowed in the Farm, Minor, Major, Intermediate, or Junior divisions to maintain fair and balanced teams during the draft process. 


10. When and where are player evaluations, and who needs to attend?

Player evaluations are mandatory for all players League Age 7 and older (Farm, Minor, and Major Divisions). The evaluation schedule is as follows:

• Major Division: Wed, Jan 8 at 6 PM

• Minor Division: Thur, Jan 9 at 6 PM

• Farm Division: Fri, Jan 10 at 6 PM

• Makeup Evaluations for all divisions: Sat, Jan 11 at 9 AM
