Kline set to step down

Mike Kline announced to the FNLL Board of Directors during the monthly meeting in May that he would be stepping down as the League President effective September 1, 2022. 

Kline still plans to be involved with Little League, either at the District level and/or with FNLL to help with the league's transition as well as helping out in needed areas. "I still plan to be active with the league, I just plan to take on a supportive and consultative role instead" said Kline.

During his time at FNLL Kline has help implement initiatives such as online registrations with a league management system, adding divisions including, Intermediate, Juniors/Seniors, and Softball. He has also, overseen projects like the building of the Jack McShea batting cages, and the Dave Fogle Pavilion.

Frederick National also hosted three State Tournaments including the Maryland State Little League Tournament in 2019, which FNLL participated in, and finished as the State runner-up.

During his time at FNLL has won multiple district tournaments, local city championships, Tournament of Champions, and FNLL's own Fogle Frederick City Classics.

"I'm proud of all the many hats I got to wear, figuratively, and literally, the accomplishments our kids have made over the last 10 yrs. I'm just happy I was here to witness it."
