Paul Bennett

Starting Spring 2015, Paul Bennett will lead the lacrosse program at Mount Pisgah with a JV team and teams through PCS.  A familiar face around Mount Pisgah, Paul is in his third year of the coaching staff for the middle school volleyball teams.  He is currently coaching the three middle school teams and assisting with JV and Varsity as needed. 

Paul has coached through the Chattahoochee lacrosse feeder program and also coaches with the Georgia Blue Jays which is a select travel lacrosse team for the summer.  He currently plays lacrosse in local adult leagues throughout the year.  He is a Level 2 US Lacrosse Certified coach.

Originally from Kansas, he moved to Saudi Arabia for 7 years before moving to Texas to attend high school where he played football, basketball and baseball at Euless Trinity High School in Euless, TX (Dallas-Fort Worth area). Paul attended Texas Tech before transferring out to Georgia Tech. Paul spent 1 1/2 years playing in various 2 man beach tournaments from Texas to California during summers and spring breaks before his transfer to Georgia Tech.  Paul has also completed two full distance Ironman triathlons along with multiple half Ironman, Olympic and Sprint distance races.  In addition to triathlons, Paul has competed in Adventure Racing where races are measured in days and not hours.  He has raced at a high level in mountain biking, road racing and track cycling for the past 15 years.

Paul and his wife Jessica have two kids who attend Mount Pisgah.
