2023 Titan Summer B-Ball Academy - Session 1

This is for a SESSION 1 PASS of our 14th Annual SMCAA Summer Titan Basketball (In-Person) Academy Clinic hosted by SMHS head boys basketball coach Mihail "Coach Pop" Papadopulos, SMHS girls head coach Elizabeth Reuter and the HS basketball staff.

In order to maintain a safe environment, we will continue to limit our academy participants to about 60 participants in order to maintain safe social distances. SESSION 1 will have access to both the big and small gyms at San Marino High School. We have quite a bit of space and we will continue to manage our players in a safe manner. Each player will be given a FREE TITAN BASKETBALL & SHIRT which they should bring to each workout. We ask each player to bring their own water bottles to every workout. Due to high interest, registrations will be first come first serve.

Our first academy session will begin on Monday, June 5 31 and will end on Friday, June 16th. Workouts will be 3-5 pm at San Marino High School. We will always working on footwork and dribbling but the emphasis for this academy is Dribbling, Ball Handling & Driving. These clinics are all fundamental development workouts by coaches that have over 20 years of experience working with young players. Typically after one summer, we see GREAT GROWTH in player skill sets and confidence.

This is for a SESSION 2 PASS of our 14th Annual SMCAA Summer Titan Basketball (In-Person) Academy Clinic hosted by SMHS head boys basketball coach Mihail "Coach Pop" Papadopulos, SMHS girls head coach Elizabeth Reuter and the HS basketball staff.

Our second academy session will begin on Tuesday, June 20 and will end on Friday, June 30th. Workouts will be 3-5 pm at San Marino High School. There will be NO WORKOUT on Monday, June 19th in observance of the Juneteenth Holiday. We will always working on footwork and dribbling but the emphasis for this academy is Shooting and Triple Threat techniques. These clinics are all fundamental development workouts by coaches that have over 20 years of experience working with young players. Typically after one summer, we see GREAT GROWTH in player skill sets and confidence.

There will be NO WORKOUT on Tuesday, July 4th in observance of the July 4th Holiday and no workout on Friday, July 7th. We will always working on footwork and dribbling but the emphasis for this academy is Offensive Scoring & Defensive Skill Sets. These clinics are all fundamental development workouts by coaches that have over 20 years of experience working with young players. Typically after one summer, we see GREAT GROWTH in player skill sets and confidence.

Our fourth academy session will begin on Monday, July 24 and will end on Friday, July 28th. Workouts will be 2-5 pm (3 HOUR SESSIONS) at San Marino High School. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A ONE WEEK SESSION FOR 3 HOURS EACH SESSION. We will always working on footwork and dribbling but the emphasis for this academy is Footwork, Dribbling, Shooting & Scoring but all these skills together to develop a confident player. These clinics are all fundamental development workouts by coaches that have over 20 years of experience working with young players. Typically after one summer, we see GREAT GROWTH in player skill sets and confidence.
