SMCAA Winter League (Grades 3-8)

2025-2026 SMCAA Youth Winter Basketball League

SMCAA Youth Basketball League is back!

Open to all 3rd to 8th grade boys and girls attending SMUDS schools, are SMUSD eligible (non-SM players will be placed on 'waitlist' and added as space allows) or played with us last season.

MANDATORY EVALUATIONS ON SUNDAY OCTOBER 12TH at SAN MARINO HIGH SCHOO! -- Registration will close October 11th at 12 Noon!

Practices are once per week (to be scheduled by the coach) with games on Sundays or Saturdays. The season will run from November to the beginning of February. Register ASAP as divisions will reach capacity and EVERY YEAR, some kids get left out.

Log in to your existing SMCAA account (SMCAA (San Marino Community Athletics Association) > Home (bluesombrero.com ). All 6 divisions of 2025-26 SMCAA Winter Youth Basketball should appear. If the link does not work for you, go to the SMCAA website and look under "SMCAA Basketball".

***New Users*** Create a profile and enter your child's information. Some users may see more than 1 available program. Be sure to select the correct GRADE level.

IMPORTANT:

Double check you are registering your child for the correct grade/level. IF you do not see your child's division, send an email...DO NOT REGISTER FOR A DIFFERENT LEVEL (once the error is discovered, you likely will lose your spot).
Kids are left out EVERY YEAR because their parents waited too long to register. We are a community rec league. We are limited to space by number of coaches, gym time, jerseys, etc. We typically have over 200 kids per season..."just add one more kid" is always suggested AFTER reaching capacity but this is not realistic as we need to balance skill levels, number of players and our resources. In short, REGISTER EARLY! Boy 3-4 and Boys 5-6 fill up EVERY YEAR!
