Once your child has aged out of our U8 IM program, they will either be chosen from the tryout / evaluation process for our Travel league or would choose our LARS Recreational (per season) teams.
What is the difference between the Etown United Programs that are offered -- Travel and Recreational?
Travel

- Travel teams practice 2 days a week for 1.5 hours each practice
- Games on Saturdays (U13 and older will play on Sundays in the Fall only)
- Games played within the Central PA area (average 30-45 miles)
- Slightly higher costs compared to LARS (Varies by age group)
- Single year age divisions – ie. U9, U10, U11
- Players will be provided a “Players Card” by the league with birth certificate verification
- Teams compete at the highest level/division that their team is able to participate in. Within each age group, there could be up to 5 brackets.
