Spring season registration is open January 1, 2024-February 2, 2024!
A late fee of $15 will apply to all registrations after this date through Feb 17th with limited spots available as teams will be formed as early as Feb 9th.

Spring Season
Team Practices begin mid/late March.
Practices will be held at the Wenger Rheems Athletic Softball Fields located at 136 Robinson Dr. Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Games will be playing at various local fields in Lancaster County, PA.

Practice & Games Schedules:
6U - (birthdates 2017/2018) Free clinics (not team based, three dates 1.5hr skill building & introduction to softball - Saturday dates TBD)
8U (birthdates 2015/2016/2017*) - WED/SAT
10U (birthdates 2013/2014*) - TUE/THU
12U (birthdates 2011/2012*) - MON/WED
14U (birthdates 2009/2010*) - TUE/THU
*NEW AGE CHARTS for USA SOFTBALL were released in Fall 2023 for play in SPRING 2024. The new ages allow players born SEP/OCT/NOV/DEC of a given year (that would have otherwise moved up) to stay in the lower age level. These changes were made to align with school age. The league will follow the new ranges; however, you may select the next level up if your player Falls into this category (SEP/OCT/NOV/DEC moving up per old charts). For example, a player born October 2014 would have typically moved up to 10U, but may now play one more year at 8U level (but may also move up).

Team placements will be determined on many factors including number of participants at each age level, skill levels, requests, pitcher/catcher assignments, etc. If you have any requests, please add them in the comments during registration.

Softball - Recreation 2024 Spring

Etown Fastpitch youth girls' softball Spring program is offered for 8U/10U/12U/14U age levels, ALL skill levels.

PLAYERS MUST RESIDE IN THE ELIZABETHTOWN AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT (Elizabethtown, PA)

Please register your player for her age as of 08/31/23. If you would like to have your player considered to play up one age level, please use the comments box to indicate your request and any other necessary requests (coach and teammate requests). All requests will be reviewed and discussed with the parents as appropriate for the development of each player and are not guaranteed. It is highly recommended that players stay in their age group to grow in leadership and skill.

REGISTRATION OPEN 1/1/24-2/1/24. LATE FEE of $15 will be charged to all registrations after 2/1/24 and spots will not be guaranteed.

Once jerseys are ordered, cost of jersey (included in registration fee) cannot be refunded.

Spring fundraiser is required to maintain costs of the fields and the program. Parents may opt out of the fundraiser for $40 ($65 opt out for multiple players in the same family). All players are required to have one representative serve at least one concession slot during the regular season and one slot during a fundraiser tournament during the season (10U tournament and/or high school showcase tournament).

Our Spring season is scheduled to begin practices two times per week late March as follows*:

6U Clinics (free)- three 1.5 hr sessions Saturdays 10:30am-12:00pm April/May dates TBD (Born 2017 and 2018)

8U: Wed/Sat (Born 09/01/2014-12/31/2016; 01/01/2017-8/31/2017 considered)

10U: Tue/Thur (Born 09/01/2012-08/31/2014)

12U: Mon/Wed (Born 09/01/2010-08/31/2012)

14U: Tue/Thur/possible Friday games (Born 09/01/2008-8/31/2010)

*NEW AGE CHARTS were released by USA SOFTBALL for 2024 Spring teams. The age ranges listed above reflect these changes.*

Games will begin Mid April (late April/early May for 14U) on the same weekdays as above (teams will either have a game or practice).

Practice days are subject to change based on number of teams and availability of coaches/fields; however, game days of the week for each age level are set across the entire LANCO Youth Softball league.

Etown 10U/12U tournament will be held on Sat 5/18/24 and Sun 5/19/24 at our fields. Please save these dates as our teams will be participating. Dates subject to change.

Game season: Mid-April-Mid June

We will communicate open gyms and process for player evaluations as soon as we can.
